Romain Bausch stepped down from his president/CEO position at SES at the satellite operator’s April 3rd Board Meeting. But the same meeting saw him appointed as Chairman-elect of the Board of Directors. He will take over when current chairman Rene Steichen steps down at the end of this year.
As announced in June 2013, and after having been at the helm of the company over the last 19 years, Romain Bausch stepped down from his position of president and CEO of SES, and Karim Michel Sabbagh has assumed this role. Sabbagh served on the board of directors of SES since April 2011 and, after resigning from the board, joined the company as CEO Designate in September 2013.
“Furthermore, Ramu Potarazu has been elected as a new member of the board of directors. Potarazu is the CEO of Binary Fountain. He is the founder and former CEO of Vubiquity,” stated the company.
