TeliaSonera International Carrier signs IP Transit deal with Caucasus Online

TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC) will supply Caucasus Online with high quality IP Transit connectivity based on its global IP network. The deal, taking the partnership into its 6th year, enables Caucasus Online to power its users with scalable, global reach at the speed of fiber. Caucasus Online’s customers will benefit from direct high speed access to the content, gaming and social communities most demanded by its Internet customers.
Caucasus Online is, today, the dominant fixed data and long distance telephony provider in Georgia. Since
1998, Caucasus Online has been shaping the Georgian Internet service provider market. In 2006, it consolidated the market acquiring two competitors, Georgia Online and Sanet. This was followed by the acquisition of Telenet which allowed Caucasus Online to offer a full range of ISP services and connectivity across Georgia.
