James Carson, Managing Director at History Hit, said: “The majority of our audience come from the US and UK, so to work with Comcast via their entertainment platforms to drive accessibility of History Hit in the US is incredibly exciting. We’ve seen strong growth on 3rd party platforms over the last year, with Apple and Android subscriptions performing above expectations, along with new launches on Amazon and Samsung Tizen. The Comcast launch provides greater availability to our growing library of content, in unison with our mission to make history more accessible in the digital age.”
The History Hit app for Comcast platforms has been launched through Metrological, a Comcast Company. History Hit is also available on Roku, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, Xbox iOS, Android and web, and is also available for global operators through the Metrological Application Platform.
