Blu Digital Group appoints Pawsey

Blu Digital Group, a specialist in media and entertainment digital media services and software, has announced the appointment of Scott Pawsey as the Director of Operations for its London facility. In this role, Pawsey will be responsible for optimising business processes and spearheading increased automation for Blu Digital Group in the UK.
The recently unveiled facility, located in the creative media hub of Hatton Garden, London, will provide a range of services including content distribution, media management, post-production, localisation, and distribution services to both existing and new clients in the region. Additionally, it will serve as the European base for the company’s cloud-based software division.
Pawsey has most recently been responsible for the past eight years of the operations and technology at media management company Bitmax. Prior to that, he was Head of Technical Operations at Deluxe Media. He spent over a decade in technical support at Ascent Media and became a Digital Media Support specialist when it was acquired and became Deluxe142. Pawsey started his career in media management as a tape operator at TVP.
