Envoi and Eluvio have announced an integration to provide an end-to-end video streaming platform and media repository. Envoi is the first commercially available solution on the market for the new Eluvio video distribution platform.
Eluvio Content Fabric is a software platform for content providers to manage and distribute premium video to consumers and business partners without the need for Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). It enables content providers to deliver ultra-low latency, high quality video content and reduce their reliance on complex and costly transcoding services, cloud storage providers, and aggregators.
Envoi is a cloud-based content management, distribution, and monetization platform, giving broadcasters and video content providers a complete secure end-to-end video management and distribution system. Envoi is designed to provide simple and efficient data migration to the cloud and between services in the workflow.
With this integration, Envoi automates the creation of content spaces, libraries, and files within these libraries. This makes it easy to integrate with a media management solution and ingest files directly into Eluvio for ultra-fast video delivery. Envoi also provides apps, which provide user and customer registration and management, payment and subscriptions management, secure end-to-end video streaming, and consumption analytics.
Michelle Munson, CEO and co-founder, Eluvio, commented: “With Eluvio we are radically streamlining the traditional media distribution workflow. Envoi has a very aligned philosophy and approach, delivering an entire studio in the cloud. This integration makes it easy for our customers to ingest their content wherever it is stored whilst also managing that content throughout the entire media workflow.”
Nicholas Stokes, CEO, Envoi, added: “Eluvio is an extremely exciting platform that replaces the need for CDNs delivering a low cost, secure, yet high performance platform for distributing video. What makes it even more groundbreaking is the ability to transact using the concepts of blockchain and crypto currency.”
